    Hydrolyzed Protein food?

    Hello, I have a friend whose cat vomits frequently. The vet is having him feed him Royal Canin's Hydrolyzed Protein cat food, but it's a good $50.00 for a 7lb bag. Is there a cheaper, decent substitute for this food? Thanks~
