Our 6 month old male, Tobey, wheezes when he's lying down. He seems fine when he's playing, still has lots of energy, and doesn't really seem uncomfortable. Our vet said to just keep an eye on it, b/c it could possibly be feline asthma. Any thoughts?
I just got a new kitten, and after a week and a half, they are sleeping together, grooming each other, even eating out of the same bowl! Just be patient with them, and have faith!! Good luck!
A good thing to do is for everyone to keep an eye out for bills being passed re: animal cruelty laws, fines, etc. There are more than you think, and the more letter-writing we all do in North America to our governments, the more we can help the law save animals.
This is so sad...
Toby, our newest addition, and Trixie (8 mo) have been getting along really well the last few days! I was so worried that they would never like each other, but it's only been 2 weeks and they are already cuddling! There is still a lot of chasing going on, but i think it's playing, although...

I saw "calming" cat toys at the pet store the other day - the packets were filled with lavender scent - so maybe it does? I didn't try them to see if it worked or not, but I was certainly curious!
I'm still trying to get pics of Toby on (the program is giving me difficulties), but here is Trixie!! Hopefully I can figure out a signature soon!
check out her sweetness!

Just wondering about the clicker - Do you just use it to make a noise the cats don't like? Does it work for a lot of people here? I'd love to stop my babies from trying to eat food off of my plate without yelling "No!" - I hate them thinking I'm mad!
You should try putting cat nip on it - or something else your cat will like the smell of. Also, to get Trixie to use her scratching post, I tied a toy on with a string that she could bat at, and eventually, I took it off, but she kept using it!
