In my experience, I've had better luck with using a flea comb and coconut oil than Frontline, and I have seven indoor cats. It's far safer for the cats, too.
Hi JoannaeH,
I'm also in the UK and I would really recommend Nature's Menu wet food. It's - in my opinion - one of the better cat food brands available over here. There's also Lily's Kitchen, which can be ordered from the website, or picked up in larger branches of Tesco. Hi life wet cat food...
Such a touching tribute to a beautiful little cat. I'm so sorry to hear that little Karma didn't make it, and can't even begin to understand how you must feel. I also followed your previous thread and was so certain things would turn out differently; this turn of events really broke my heart...
Cottage? I meant bungalow type building. Actually, it's more of a huge room, but it has chicken wiring outside so the cats can go in and look out onto the garden within the safety of an enclosure.
Seven, in a big house with four floors. They also have their own cottage in the garden, where they spend a lot of time in the summer, but in the winter, they're always in the house. ^_^
One of my cats, Sahara, who's almost two will stand up to kiss me - on the mouth - if I bend down to stroke her. I have no idea where she learned to do this though, as she was born in my house!
Hi and welcome to the site :)
Wow, 16 spoiled felines? I have seven spoiled felines and have a hard time managing sometimes! I think you deserve a medal! ^_^
So sorry to hear this, it can't be easy for you or for her. Bless Pandalin and bless your sister. Cocheezie is right - you definitely all WERE amazing and did go the distance for him! I'm sure he knows he was loved. Again, I'm so sorry. <3
Oh no! Sorry to hear this, allieq. Hang in there! It's just another bump in the road which you will both overcome. In any case, I'm sending more vibes to you for her swift recovery.
(.....and that picture... awww, just want to kiss that little head!)
*puts hand up*
I've had this problem with one of my cats just recently actually. I took him to the vet's straight away and he was prescribed antibiotics and an anti inflammatory; he was better within a few days.
I'm not sure whether it's related to the ruptured anal gland, but I wish you both...
You haven't failed him at all! You've been an excellent owner, caring for him and taking him to the vet on time. Anyone who's read this thread can see you've really tried your best.
Don't hesitate to PM me if you feel like talking, I'm here to support you and anyone else who may need it.
*hugs*
