What I have been told on the FIV forum is that lysine doesn't really work for FIV  It sure hasn't done much for my  FIV snuffler  I did read a couple of articles by Vets that said to use Flonase so I may try that   This is one difficult thing to treat   Its distressing

Yes I know about the controversy around that antibiotic and thats why I have decided against it.  My other cat who was the first one to come down with the URI was given Convenia  and perhaps thats why he is taking so long to recover….and lets hope he does recover.  He's still in the hospital.  ...

I a little freaked out about that medication.  The cat thats in the hospital on IV had a shot of that right away and it didn't seem to help.  That one has FIV and the cat that just started sneezing yesterday doesn't have FIV  Not that that makes any difference. I have been posting on and off...
