Miles is doing fantastic with the kittens.  He LOVES playing with them, and when he pins them down he licks them, just like Sophie does.  I'm so proud of him, I think he got over his phobia when he used to watch us play with them, he wanted to join in.  All the kitties are doing really well...

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I was wrong about the second grey tabby, it's a girl!  So the cream and the ginger tabby are boys and the grey tabby and calico/grey tabby are girls. :)

She is so pretty, reminds me of my Sophie.  Is she a buff, cream color with white socks?  My cat just had kittens January 2nd, and I knew pretty early in the pregnancy like you did and the waiting is nerve racking.  I was expecting kittens around Christmas (I didn't know when she got pregnant)...

Yeah, my husband suggested something along the lines of your baby gate idea too.  My living room would be okay, I'm just worried about the electrical cords from our tv, entertainment center, etc.  In fact my living room has double french doors that lock, so I wouldn't even need a gate, I suppose...
