Agreed. Innova EVO has the lowest carb content of all the kibble.. I've found that it takes less EVO to feed my cat than it did Nutro. Canned food is definitely a good option also.

The texture is not pate, it's chunky.. you can actually see the individual ingredients. Aphro's faves are Turduckden, Cowboy Cookout, and Grammy's Pot Pie.

I think a good food with chunks or non-pate style would be more appealing to my kitty.. i think it may be one of the reasons why she liked FF so much. Any suggestions? She didn't like Merrick and it was chunky.. so I don't know. Thanks for the idea of mixing the food.. might taste weird..
