Thank you for responding. I will up the lysine and I've only recently started it. I would think if it were allergies it would be in both eyes. I'm new to all of this so I'm going to keep trying all these suggestions

I had her to the vet to 3 months ago and he merely said possible tear duct and to see and I specialist. If it had been herpes I would think he would have said so. When I accepted the cat from previous owner she was fine. But they were moving and thought she might have scratched her one eye but...
