Our cat Francesca is 10 years old, rescued nearly 3 years ago.
She had developed a massive thirst, so we had her checked for diabetes, sure enough, 491!
Meanwhile she quit peeing in her box! We got a lower box, still she pees everywhere in her room except box! We used enzyme, cat attract in same litter she has always used. put shower curtain liners down with foil around edges. She pees on shower curtain!
The diabetes is under control with insulin, we cut her water back, so Vet says its behavioral. We think box is too small, so gonna cut out a tote for her. She can't jump. She was 20lbs, now 15lbs 2 months later. Please help, am pulling my hair out!
