My husband wins a hero award. We haven't put trim up yet so he was able to cut a hole in the wall and get the kitties out! They are doing fine. Momma rushed one back in that we had to take out again but the entrance is blocked up now. I feel terrible taking away her spot but its not safe.

My husband said there are no pipes so they won't get burnt. It's a small spot so they cannot go in the wall at all. She's in there all the time caring for them now so im assuming all is well. We will be gone all day so she has the house to herself and im hoping she brings them out.

@sarthur2 A few more questions: How long is it okay for her to be away from the nest? She keeps crying for me and wants me with her. Is this normal or something i should be worried about? Im not certain if the last placenta was expelled or not.
