I felt the kittens move around 3 weeks before she was in labor. But it all depends on the cat, how many kittens and so on.

Just out of curiousity.. My Cat had her litter 5 days ago and one of the kitten's eye opened. Is this normal? All the other kitten's eyes are closed but looks like they are beginning to open from the inner corners.
