My cats nose is raw and red from the bottom. The vet says it is due to extensive licking caused by the flu. The cat is on antibiotics but the nose which looks more like a open wound now then simply being red is not healing. How do i stop my ct from licking his nose. Vet says no ointment will...

Here is the strange thing that i have observed - its always the neutered male cat that starts the fights. On the occasions that non-neutered cat tried to mount the spayed female, i separate them, but then shes always wanting his company. FouMinou how long did you have to wait ?

Ultrasound failed to locate. Vet options are limited where i am, unless i try another city. I will inquire hormone therapy, thankx. If there is any other advice anybody can give - it would be much appreciated - specially concerning the fighting.
