Four of our kittens passed away yesterday, on their first day of life outside the womb.  Our Kitty has inverted nipples.  Is that why they couldnt latch on? One baby left and we are feeding her in shifts every 2 hours.  We also thought she had more kittens in her cuz she was so still so fat.  ...

i feel depressed that I didn't realize they weren't getting any milk yesterday.  When they weren't making noise, and were snuggled up to her, I assumed they were fine.

Thank you so much for the feeding amount and time.  Our 1 year old kitty had a litter of 5 and they were unable to nurse.   For some reason, they couldnt latch on.  Four of them died the first day.  We are feeding the last kitten every 2 hours.  I sure hope nobody falls asleep on the job!
