Today my poor lovely Lynx was put to sleep, the best and most loving cat I have ever had.

try using feliway, it is an aromatic thing you plug in a socket, we cant smell it but animals can.  

thankyou for the thoughts, i take it this is a US site looking at the times, have you or do you know anyone who has used Nuroplex??

i have just had my cat lynx diagnosed with leg cancer, but he also has other underlying problems, ie a heart problem since 2008 and since he has had his biopsy for this he has suffered from mild fits twice 9 days apart, he never used to leave my side and now spends most of his time in the bath...
