    Cat anesthesia

My kitty has had bladder crystals and after a nearly 2 week battle the vet decided it would be best if they sedated him, placed a catheter and irrigate his bladder. He was there 2 days and came home last night. He's eating and drinking and peeing fine right now. He's still on a bladder relaxant...

    Kitty GI problems! Need advice.

He's super picky. He likes very few wet foods. I tried Stella and Chewy and none of my cats would touch it. He's back eating his Primal. Eating like a champ. I'm keeping with the Primal and the occasional bit of Purina One dry just because that's what he's accustomed to and I don't feel like...

    Kitty GI problems! Need advice.

He snuggled next to me all night. He spent a lot of time this morning cleaning his butt which he has not been interested in all week. He was more interested in his food this morning and ate fairly well. He's peed in the box this morning. We'll just see what the next poop brings.

    Kitty GI problems! Need advice.

Right now he will only nibble the dry food. He'll eat treats occasionally but won't touch the Primal. Today I bought several cans of tasty fish flavored foods and he did eat a little of that. It's Meow Mix but at this point any calories are good calories until he's eating regularly.

    Kitty GI problems! Need advice.

He mostly has been eating Primal (freeze dried). On days that I work and I'm gone for about 14 hours I leave out some dry Purina One for them. They used to eat Wellness Core dry but one of my other cats needed prescription food for awhile and Kellen really liked it and refused to eat the...

    Kitty GI problems! Need advice.

It was a completely loose bm so I'm sure there was no hairball. He's still taking the Flagyl. He did eat a hand full of treats and a few bites of food tonight. The bloody mucous in the beginning makes need think he may have colitis. I just wish he'd get well soon! It's too much stress! Momma...

    Kitty GI problems! Need advice.

My 7 year old boy Kellen oddly was vomiting Tuesday morning (undigested food). Weird for him but I didn't worry too much about it. When I got home from work Tuesday night he had vomited a few more times and I found a bunch of bloody mucous in the kitchen (it came from his bottom like a bowel...

Advice for diet & urinary crystals?

Hello! I was feeding Kirby, now 8 years old,  (our only kitty at the time) Wellness Core for years and he did very well. He vomited frequently on multiple other foods that we tried. I was advised to try grain free and it worked well for him! Out of the blue he developed bloody urine (no UTI...

    An update on Charlie!

He's doing awesome! He learned the litter box in 2 days! His meowing and restlessness is pretty much gone. He no longer meows sadly all night to go out.....he sleeps on the bed with his people instead! Kirby's still NOT his biggest fan but Charlie & Kellen are now best buds! They two WILD boys...

Jeepers you guys are experts! What kind of kitty might I be?

I've kind of thought he looked a little like a Siberian as well.  Who knows where our mixed bag of tricks boys come from!

I already know I'm pretty but where did I come from? What kind am I?

Thanks for all the comments guys! I should add that even though he is 16 lbs he could use a little weight loss. He's a big, tall, long boy so he's going to be BIG no matter what but could lose a pound or two. His fur is seriously the SOFTEST fur I've ever felt! It's very wispy and fine.
