I have heard of mental illness in Cats, my girlfriend brings her can to the Vet once a month ofr a vitamin B shot....now I am not sure exactly why her cat needs it but it does relieve some of the stress the cat is feeling. maybe look into it? what kind of meds is your kitty taking? good luck!

My cat does the same thing, only She is female and she seems to do it when she is being loved up by either me or my sons. It is a problem here as well and I don't know why she does it....I have heard it is love bites but tell that to my 5 year old when he is crying with teeth marks down his arm.

I am going through this now and reading your tips are helping. I know that my friend used tuna jiuce right on a little kitten and the older cat licked it off which was great, they got along fine. In my case though these cats are both spayed females about 5 years old. Will 2 females ever get along?

Hi hissy, Thank you redirecting my post...I don't know what I am doing There was a problem with where his testicle was intangled and when it was removed it caused damage and he wasn't able to urinate. He underwent 2 operations and was then put to sleep.
