I got all of the pies baked and the baked beans taken care of. Everthing so far has come out perfect. The kitchen is now clean and you can't even tell I was in there baking all day. It was a good day.
22 pound roast turkey,green bean cassarole, candied sweet potatoes,mashed potatoes,stuffing,deviled eggs(made from the eggs given to us by our chickens),baked beans,dinner rolls,gravy, cranberry sauce, pumkin pie, apple pie and cherry pie.
Hubby and I and the kids and my parents who live with us will be having a dinner with the trimmings. No else is coming, we didn't invite them. This year, we have only ourselves to worry about. Which means watching the parade on TV, eating turkey and trimmings and watching football. A relaxed day...
I would give her another week of what you are doing. This is a big change for her, its better to take it slow. It won't hurt to bring in some pine cones but she might not pay attention to them You might try a lazer light. Just shine it right around in front of her so she doesn't have to come out...
