My cat has the SAME problem. But when i try to cut/brush it out she bites me :P Shes getting older , about 13 and shes NEVER gotten mats before. Oh yeah shes long haired... buuut i think shes starting to not clean herself as well as she used to. ~Ashley~

Hello! I'm Ashley and I have 2 kitties. One is 13 years old whome ive had since i was 3 and i am now 16! Her name is mamacat and she is black with long fur. My other cat is 5 and her name is misty. She is white with striped blotches, she is huge!.. hopefully ill get pics up soon! ~Ashley~
