    I'm still not 100% sure that these scabs weren't there before the litter change, however you have a good point and I'll try to get some different litter and change her box to see if that clears it up thanks for the input.

    Hey GreenJeens thanks for the reply, unfortunately the answer to those questions are no, no and no. That's what's so confusing and worries me about these scabs, there's nothing I can think of that's changed in our routine to cause them.

    My cat who's a indoor, 10 year old, with no fleas, has these little scabs the size of a pen head (yes pen not pin lol) in a couple of spots on her neck for a month or so now. They don't seem to bother her, in fact she rather likes when I monkey pick at them. I just can't seem to figure out why...
