    Cats are clever little suckers!

So I've had this problem with my cat Frodo about using the litterbox. I took a sample of his urine in for a UTI and they said he was fine. But I still had the problem...so I started reading up on all these things you can do to retrain your cat to use the litter box or find out why he won't...

    UTI Treatment

OK, I took a sample of my cat, Frodo's urine into my vet to see if he has a UTI because he refuses to use the litter box. He'll pee in tubs or poop on the floor. The sample came back fine....no UTI, but I don't believe it. Everything I read about UTI's in cats, say he has one. He has all the...

Is this mean? Or am I overreacting?

Maybe he doesn't know how to play with the cat. Some people don't know. But what he is doing now, I wouldn't tolerate. And if you've told him it bothers you and he continues to do it....then maybe you should have him read this post and what everyone has said about it. It may upset him, but if...

    Small time Panic

I wonder if a regular store bought pregnancy test works on animals. Glad she's not pregnant. Good luck!

    Weather for potted plants?

My pansies are doing fine, as long as it stays above freezing at night. I think you are good. Last night it got down to 22 and I was worried, but woke up and they were fine this morning. So go ahead!!! Not sure about the daisy's as I don't have any, but I'm growing mums and they are ok, but...

    At what age...

I would do a slow introduction. Although I would wait til the kittens are two weeks to do this. But when you do, make sure the mom is around and let the mom be in control of that introduction process. The mother will be able to sense a threat to her young before a human will. So do it slowly...

How old are your kittens? Are you handling them a lot and is the mom ok with you?

    Not a UTI

So I took a sample of Frodo's urine into my vet, and there was no UTI. So what Frodo has is a behavioral problem. He either doesn't like using a litter box with another cat, or there are territorial problems. There are now two litterboxes, but that doesn't work either. He still pees in the tub...

OMG IS IT JUST ME OR are vets getting more and more expensive??

I must have a great vet, or live in a state where things aren't that expensive. Getting my cat Sam, (who was a stray before I had him) all his shots and neutured plus micropchiped all in the same visit cost me $94 bucks. So I would look around at different vets and maybe just call and ask them...

I think I know what you are talking about momof3..... People telling you that you are wrong about the laser precedure.. right? Well I went over it thuroughly with my vet, because I was told that laser removal was still an amputation. So my vet went over it with me, and said "no, it is not an...

Wow...I thought getting Sam declawed would be more complicated...24 hours later...he's walking on them as if nothing is wrong. He licks his paws...but things must be a lot better now since things are done with lasers...I thought he'd still be bandaged up when I took him home...but he's just...
