just a question...but what happens if you and your boyfriend decide to get serious and move in together? then the dog and this cat would be stuck together..i hope you guys aren't ones to dump one at the shelter.....it's better to introduce them now then down the road.......... just my 2 cents
with 2 cats/2 litter boxes we clean it twice a day and then whenever it smells we dump it out and start fresh, we use Arm and Hammer Multi-Cat with the deodorizer as an extra. It seems to work good.
2 dog mom- in our house we put a baby gate up so our dog can not get into the cat area but we leave the gate up enough from the floor where the kitten(12 weeks old) and the cat(13yrs old) can get under it. It works and it keeps the dog out of the mud room where the cats stuff is but lets them...
I'm not sure if i'm in the right spot, if not please move just tell me where you put it. I was curious, if like dogs, you can kinda figure out what size your cat will be by multiplying there weight at a certain age by 2 and thats what size they will be full grown......Thanks,

Thanks us too!!! Today the 3 of us where on the couch, the dog at my feet, the kitten cuddle part under the blanket with me and the older cat by the arm rest of the couch and the older one got up to lay on my lap and licked the kitten on the head. it was sooo cute i was sooooo excited
We have been leaving them out for the past few days and it's actually gotten better, the older cat will actually get our kitten to play with her. I think(i hope) they will be fine, no fur laying on the ground yet. They seem to play for a bit and then hang out, the little ones knew favorite spot...
