    Brother bullying his sister! :/

Well, at least it's fairly normal behavior. My real concern is Fae's health. I feel bad locking Apollo in the laundry room while she eats but she's SO skinny (can feel every bone in her body right now though she IS starting to gain a little) that I just can't do anything else. And she's SO...

    Brother bullying his sister! :/

(Sorry so long!! Just wanted to get all the info in here.) My mother's cats are about 9 years old, born in 2000. They were kept together because as kittens, they were inseparable. They were fixed together and my mother had them declawed together (). Apollo, the pale orange tabby, is a...

Why don't B&W's or Black Cats get adopted?

Do to a messy break-up I had to leave my baby, Emily with my ex ( this was agreed upon when we rescued her but ouch!) but she was a DARLING. (A little psycho but if you were as smart as her and as bored as her you'd be nuts too - we tried everything but just couldn't afford to buy 50 dif toys...

young cat bullying older cat = older cat peeing elsewhere

I've read a lot of really good advice here. As far as the vet fund is concerned, Pet'sMart has an in-house vet usually and I know that they do a "puppy package" which is fairly cheap: You pay to start it, around $100 but it covers all the basics and getting her fixed and then it's about $35 a...

Inflamed Nipples on fixed kitty! :(

[[[[[If you'll notice, I said I have an appointment scheduled already above. I was simply reiterating how bad a time this is for her to get sick. My boyfriend just lost his job and I can't find a new one and have no car and they do not have a bus system in LA that caters to workers, just...

Inflamed Nipples on fixed kitty! :(

Yep. Beans it is. LOL But no, she's not licking or sucking or anything. I've been keeping an extra keen eye on her and she's not been doing anything. I have no idea what to think.... *sigh*

Inflamed Nipples on fixed kitty! :(

I made the appointment with the vet but my mom suggested that maybe it's just pimples. I guess cats can get zits or impacted nipples or something??? Any one know what this could be?? I can pay for the vet visit but it couldn't have come at a worse time. *sigh* (((I'm going to be eating...

Inflamed Nipples on fixed kitty! :(

She was fixed at 3 months, when we got her from the shelter. Around mid October. But, yes, she should go to the vet. I just wish I could find a cheaper one, we live in central LA and everything is sky high price-wise. :/

Inflamed Nipples on fixed kitty! :(

So, Emily strikes again with yet another odd behavior. The last nipples, close to where the incision site was when she was fixed, have been bald for several weeks. I've been keeping an eye on her and the area and noticed that she's gotten chubby around there too, almost like a mother cat...

Need help getting "wild-cat" on a schedule!

Finally Emz is calming down. No more jumping on the television to claw the screen, no more getting into things after being redirected 20 times from the same thing (now it's down to two or three times), no more late night attacks of feet or fingers... I guess it's growing up that's mellowing...

Need help getting "wild-cat" on a schedule!

Thanks for all the advice. I'll try to can of washers. I use a hissing noise to get her attention already but if she's really agitated nothing can dissuade her from her "mission" whatever that happens to be at the moment. I make the correction noise (which she knows means she's doing...

Need help getting "wild-cat" on a schedule!

Hey there. Been a while. It's Emily and her mom again. Emily is now about 6 months old and has mellowed out a little bit but I could still use a little advice. Emma is still a little goober. Once in a great while she's syncs with me and curls up in my lap, but most of the time, she's...

Please help!! Need Advice for Crazy, Neurotic Cat!!

In addition to the other advice offered: New toys can help ease their boredom some too; like a toy furred mouse or mini-tennis ball. Also, cat trees! Cats love those. They have a major urge to climb and find high places to rule their domain (it's the cat's house, not your, after all LOL)...

    Emily!

Well, I've been away for a sort of between holidays visit to my family on the east coast and my boyfriend has a little monster on his hands. He took her to the vet who vaccinated first, asked permission later and cost him way more than he was prepared for and hit her with a broad spectrum...
