I've been pretty busy as of late, but am still around. One of my cats, no matter how hard I try to hear him, does not purr. He is a very playful, happy and active cat, and rarely, if ever does he get lethargic or depressed. In fact, he is the first one to greet me at the door when I get home. Is...
Don't feel bad, eilcon. Just go and try to have a good time. I'm positive your family will be understanding. Sometimes after a long week, I just want to go home and shut the rest of the world out as well. What really stinks is when I've already made a commitment, and I dread the thought of...
I couldn't have said it better. I really liked going to SB when they first came to the East coast over 10 years ago, but as you mentioned, many smaller shops just can't compete. In downtown DC, it's not unusual to have two or 3 Starbucks on the same block.
My favorite coffee is from WaWa, Dunkin Donuts and Caribou. There are also a few small independently owned shops I try to frequent as well. Starbucks is "ok", but not the best. Where I live, they are a dime a dozen. You are not missing much at all.
Marie, check (no pun intended ) with your bank and ask them. I don't see why it would be a problem. You could also purchase a cashier's check or money order from B2 and deposit into B1. While these may cost a few bucks, It's really a lot safer than carrying such a large sum of cash on your...
I have a feeling the maintenance people know about my extra visitors, but frankly, I think they are pissed at the landlord/leasing company for paying them so little, they don't care. One guy who fixed my sink told me he has quite a few cats himself, so he's understanding.
True..I live in a large building, and they give us plenty of notice when they plan to come in for repairs or whatever. In reality, most states require a landlord give the tennant 24 hrs notice before entering the premesis, but we all know laws are meant to be broken. Thankfully, I've had no...
Thanks, All..Sorry for the late reply, as I am working on my 'puter at home. I'll definitely get her a ball. I have gotten cat toys before, and once they get bored with them, the toys just lay around.
What I'm trying to say is she plays "hockey" with one or two pieces of dry food, and it ends up under the 'fridge. I don;t knowif getting her a toy will help, or will she outgrow this ? She is eating well otherwise. Thanks!
