Ok' I'm not ready to feed raw food because
I do not trust it. I do not want to bring in
diseases that if don't kill my cat in a matter
of days, can be hazardeous for me, and meat
that can attract flies in a matter of days. Actually
I'm not a fan of meat myself, though I feed cooked
chicken...
I am interested in this topic too.
I use Prescription Hills t/d since a few years from
recommendation of vets. They never have teeth
problems (I'm talking of my indoor cats, but the
outside cats (or the one that is still outside) eat
the same thing).
Problem is: one of my cat doesn't like...
Thanks JenL!
There are a few things I haven't done right,
like not going to the vet sooner, but things
happened a little fast too. But I was complaining
a couple days ago that the winter here was too dry,
not enough snow, and it's been snowing almost
non-stop since the night M-L died. I...
Hello,
I am bumpng this thread because the cat I was talking in this thread died tonight. Well, Friday night.
I am more relieved than in pain because he was a weak cat, but am worried that I did something
wrong. I thought about last year when I wrote on this forum, and thought to come back...
His name is french, Mystère LeGris, which is a playword on "Mr. TheGrey" but the full translation is Mystery TheGrey (because his provenance is a mystery and he's forever greyish as all cats can be at night).
Someone came over and was astounded at how well he's improved. He sat near us while we...
Hello,
so my sick cat's health has improved a lot. He still has a constant breathing problem but it's much smaller, and as someone said here, might never go away. He is very playful, asks for a lot of attention, eats and go the the toilet a lot. Really, he looks more like a cat with an handicap...
Hello Catwoman,
Yeah, mine is also unneutered male, and he does have one ear rather ragged. It's hard to imagine him fighting, he's like a big baby when I take him (he doesn't mind me taking him in the "baby" position (legs up), which is not all cats, especially not cats you don't have a long...
Thanks all for the answers.
The cat is breathing really loud tonight, doesn't look good at all.
He makes weird throat noises while eating. He seems to want to eat
like it's taking pain away (to eat). I never saw him eat that much.
Then he's in "sphinx" position and breathes like it's really...
Hello,
I'm in this sad position as to wonder wrether it's time to euthanize a cat or not. This is a cat I was nourishing in my backyard and end up taking inside for winter, in a place separate from my other cats (I couldn't find the owner, and that's the reason he stayed outside so long: I have...
My cat looks just like the one in your signature merindah, but the hairs are a bit longer. The vet tagged her a mix siamese-himalayan. I'm not sure what she is but she was not a street cat. As I said she was a few weeks in my backyard before I put her in, because I was sure she would go back to...
Allright,
so I'm back from the Vet.
They didn't charge me anything. They said
the front desk girl made a mistake and post-operation
examinations are free, only operation cost depending
on what (infections are not their responsability because
they don't control what the cat does and if the...
Thanks LDG, I don't have a digital photo setup right now.
I'll tell tomorrow what the Vet thinks.
It's expensive because we went to a special
hospital (not a standard vet) because the cat
has a heart problem. I just hope they know
what they are doing, that's my concern.
Ok, right now she's...
Wow, the incision looks very small. Mine has an incision at least 3 times that long, and the bubble is like an oval around it. It looks like a liquid sac indeed.
My cat doesn't seem bothered or in pain.

Hello,
Last Fall I found a pregnant cat in my backyard. I feed two street cats and had them neuttered. She came along, and I was not sure if she was lost or not. I realized she was pregnant and tried to find the owners, but couldn't. I gave 4 of the kitties (at 3 months, and by pairs to 2...
