It's not at all a crazy idea, I know of cats who did that, but I am using nothing, and the floors are cleaned with a normal product. THANKS TO EVERYBODY WHO TRIED TO HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM ! I think I will continue as I did, anyway it's true she is old and she won't change anymore.

I am sure the spray and plug is very good for a "normal" cat, but in this case I don't know where to put the plug, she does it in the whole house and never at the same place for some weeks ! And it doesn't happen every day. Sometimes she doesn't do it for a couple of weeks.

Yes I did, I have been at least 3 times at the vet for that, everything has been tried out, medication, sprays, more attention (if possible) there is nothing to do. Sometimes there are weeks without spraying and then it starts again. Otherwise she is a cude very affectionated cat and completely...

You didn't mention if she can go outside. Or has she to stay inside during the night ? Some cats like going out during the night and sleep during the day. I had one which was so. In the evening she started to give a concert because she didn't want to stay with me, but wanted going out.

We have 4 cats and in all rooms lamina except bath, kitchen and living room and had never ever a scratch on it. It's very solid and cats are not heavy.
