    Totis, our cat..

Cody recently passed away in Feb from Diabetes.  Not one day goes by that I don't miss him.  He use to love eating dandelions, it's so tough seeing them in the yard when I cut grass.  I sure do miss him so much..  I found this thread and it brought tears to my eyes..

    Elimination/peeing outside the litter box

I've isolated them and he is using the litter box now but still not doing well with the insulin, his blood glucose is staying in the 400-500 range with 2-3 units twice a day of Prozinc.

    Elimination/peeing outside the litter box

I'm trying to seperate them as one cat has aggression toward the other which I think has something to do with his behavior.  It's like he's scared and then poops or pees.  My vet said this isn't due to his blood glucose levels.

    Elimination/peeing outside the litter box

I'm considering putting him to sleep on Monday, I just can't figure out what is going on.  He had peed on one of my hats when I got home today and pooped all over the end table.    It's like he can't control it or something.  I've tried all kinds of stuff, leaving food out, new litter box, etc. ...

    Elimination/peeing outside the litter box

I don't see anything greatly helpful there, I think it's his stress, he pees when the other cat stresses him.  It's weird, they have been together for three years.

    Cat diagnosed with diabetes

Hi All, Our cat Cody (9 years old) was diagnosed with diabetes this morning for his normal checkup.  His blood/glucose level was over 500.  They kept him until later today to do some sort of graph to bring down his level and said he would need shots once or twice daily the rest of his life.  I...

    Breeze Pellets

Hi All, Does anyone know if the breeze pellets are biodegradable and safe for a septic system? We are flushing the poop but often the pellets get stuck to the poop. Thanks, Greg

    Kenai our Bengal

We named him after the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, this area is extremely beautiful with whales, birds and other wildlife, a perfect place for an adventurous cat, and we liked the name.
