    I have bought rugs, mats and a rubber tray.. He  got me by peeing on the wall which then ran UNDER everything and made a bigger mess..  I just bought a 50 gallon plastic container to use as a litter box. I cut an opening in a corner away from the wall. I plan on putting the litter on the end...

    Thanks for the response.. I have put a mat down, tried puppy pads, ect.. He goes in the box to poop or pee ONCE.. He just  won't pee in the box a second time.. He has picked one other spot but I keep him from that area..  He's a sick little man. I love him to death but this is a real bad issue..

    My cat Gus has been fighting diabetes for some time.. He is a rescue cat and I guess he is somewhere around 15 years old... He was insulin dependent (Lantus) a few years ago. I was able to regulate it and after a few months, he was able to be insulin free since then.. Round 2.....  It came back...
