    Lightbox fun

Ha ha, fair point - they do look a bit calm in that last picture. I guess I should have said 'calm before the storm', as just after that a big play fight, through the box, started.

    Lightbox fun

So, we made a lightbox the other day and when the kitties were (finally) sleepy last night thought we might use it to get a few shots of them. Here is what happened next.... All starts off well: Then Loki gets a bit inquisitive and pop goes the kitty, and he proceeds to sun bathe under the...

    Boxtastic

After the boys, Loki and Eshu, were playing with the latest delivery boxes it struck me again how kitties always seem to love cardboard boxes. Sometimes more so than 'proper' toys. Here are a few pictures showing how much they've loved boxes right from when they were little.

    Is Kiki too fat now?

She looks pretty healthy to me, at least from those photos. A cutie too. A vet once told me that when gently stroking your cat you should be able to feel their spine through the fur. If you can't then maybe they are a bit plump - but always double check with your vet if you are concerned.

    Tummies

I have seen some fabulous tummy pictures on this forum, so thought I would add a few of Loki and Eshu. Pooped kitties: Loki letting the breeze cool him off on a hot day: Laying claim to the 'Master' bed:

    Resurfacing with some kitty pics

Gorgeous kitties, and some familiar behaviour to my two. My two love sleeping together in their pet carrier, though possibly there isn't quite so much fur to contend with as with your lovely cats. Eshu also used to suckle on his brother Loki, until he was about one. When Eshu gets really...

    Now that's a tail

Wow, that is a tail! Even when my boys go into 'trickery mode' (i.e. fluff up tails/back at something) theirs look like spaghetti noodles compared to this impressive beast of a tail!

    Help me name NoName, please?

How about: Kami - "Whose desires are fulfilled" in Sanskrit Kamin - "Joyful" in Japanese Kamal or Kamil - "Perfect" in Arabic Keefe - "Beloved" in Irish Kendi - "The loved one" in African

    Presenting Loki & Eshu

No, they are actually Burmese - a lilac/platinum colour (depending on the continent you live on). They are nearly 3 years old now, though it seems like yesterday they arrived at 3 months old. Here is a piccie taken on the day they arrived to our home, to show how much they have changed. As...

    Flying kitties

I came across an amazing cat toy a few months ago. It's probably old hat, but at least to me it was new - called Da Bird. I couldn't belieive how crazy our cats went for it! Anyone else got any funky shots of their kitties with this toy? Eshu has almost got it: A focussed Loki: Lesley

    Presenting Loki & Eshu

Hi all, I thought I would introduce our two little Masters of Mischief to the community. They are brothers and most definitely rule this household! Loki: Eshu: Cheers, Lesley

August 2009 Photo Contest Submission Thread

Our boys had been suspicously quiet. So, I went looking for them and found them in the office, having been up to mischief (suprise, suprise). The shredded paper was absolutely everywhere! Both are aptly named after Gods of Mischief, Loki (front) and Eshu (back).
