    It's happened!

No more as yet...but she waited till I was at work for the others, so will be keeping my fingers crossed tomorrow! The first one has put on 10g since yesterday (now weighs 100g) and the 2nd was 110g already when I weighed it this afternoon. The second one is so cute - almost completely tabby on...

    It's happened!

I had a sixth sense at work that something had happened this morning, and luckily my manager was happy for me to go home and work from home. Got back to find another kitten in the nesting box! Seems healthy enough to me - and it's sure got a good set of lungs on it! Still have the feeling...

    It's happened!

Thank you! Still no more kittens when I got up this morning, but i SWEAR I felt movement in there. She's definitely still got a big bump in her belly. Have been reading the thread about Icey, thanks for the link. There's mention in there of there being problems if the cervix is open - is there...

    It's happened!

omg that's crazy! Am hoping I won't have to wait that long...lol. I'm calling the vet round tomorrow evening to give her and the kitten (s??) a check up, so will have chat with him then if they still haven't turned up. Meanwhile, I'm making sure I've got plenty of coffee in for tomorrow...

    It's happened!

Thanks everyone! Still no sign of more babies yet, but when she shifts to certain positions, I can still feel hard lumps in her belly. No contractions though, so not sure whether I'm imagining things or not. To top it all off, I've just found a load of flea dirt on her neck. Any recommendations...

    It's happened!

Just got home from work, to find one alive kitten trying to find a teat, and one dead kitten that Smokey was nuzzling trying to get it to wake up I tried my best with it but it wasn't working, so I've removed it from the box - she seems fine now. Not sure how long ago they were born, but was...

Should probably have said hi by now...

...rather than just posting I'm in London, England, with my cat Smokey who's just over 2 in human years. She's due to give birth this week, so will hopefully have more kitties soon too! This is Smokey when she was a bit younger: And this is her last week, heavily pregnant!:

    Is she nearly there...?

It's fine, no need to apologise! Still no kittens as yet today (surprise surprise), but she has been hiding in various places in the bedroom today (next to our bookcase, behind the wardrobe, and even in her nesting box!) I've not seen any milk leaking, but she's definitely full of milk now - big...

    Is she nearly there...?

:S hope all's ok. She only complains sometimes when I've got my hand on her belly to feel the kittens. In terms of the lethargic thing...it's more that she's spending a lot of time asleep in our bedroom, but she still runs after me when she needs feeding, and was happy to play with a bit of...

    Is she nearly there...?

She's being quite protective...am getting the occasional bite from her! Leaving her well alone now, when she'll let me. She's still following me around a bit. Yes, she's eating, but not a huge amount - nowhere near as much as normal!

    Is she nearly there...?

Well, still no kittens! She's become a lot more lethargic though, seems to spend most of her time lying stretched out on the bed and she looks so uncomfortable! Poor baby keeps making sighing noises, I bet she can't wait till they're out! Kittens are still moving inside, so I'm not too worried...
