I put soil and leaves in my feral rescue cat litter box and it worked wonders. The only downside with litter box training a homeless cat was they don't seem to cover or bury. I did it for him (and me) for about 2 weeks until he caught on.
I rescued 2 homeless cats in my neighborhood and got them fixed, vaccinated and treated for fleas, etc.... The 1 male cat has bloody stools off an on. We have an appointment with the vet in a few days, but does anyone have experience with the outcome of tests performed on cats for blood in feces?
