Phew! We made it! Geoff graduated from Johns Hopkins with a Masters degree in Public Health last week! I think grad school was harder on me than him (Think: living alone all year but having a ghost around that makes dirty dishes and dirty laundry)
Here's us, looking relieved! (I will let you...
Thanks for all the info and help...you all are so great! I have decided to purchase one when my "George Bush Special" arrives (hehe!). One more question---I get my packages delivered at my office, because the P.O. in Baltimore won't leave packages on the front stoop....they tend to walk. Now...
I was reading the other post about making your own tree, and I don't think that I have the patience for it. I found armarkat.com, and they have really good prices and free shipping....I am just wondering if any of you own one. Reviews good/bad? I mostly just wonder if they are sturdy, because...
That looks really nice! Did you cut the scrap lumber to the sizes you needed, and put them together with hammer and nails? I have a staple gun, but I don't have a saw/tools to cut lumber....I was thinking of making Pan a cat tree too....but I really don't know how to start! Thanks for the ideas!
I worked 12-hour shifts on nights for over two years. I can't help you with the question regarding your children, but I do know I got in two car accidents those two years coming home from the hospital, because I was so tired. I think I read somewhere that driving sleep deprived is just like...
Just wanted to send hugs your way.....I know what you are going through. I moved from Chicago to Baltimore last fall, and after a rough start, things have been falling into place. I understand that it's hard for you without a car, and being out of a town area, but trying to keep busy really...
I would get my MSN right here in my backyard, at Johns Hopkins. I want to be a family NP....eventually. My boyfriend is graduating from Johns Hopkins this month with a Master's in Public Health.....so we have to deal with his school debt for a little bit before I go back.
Good luck with everything...it sounds like you are taking steps in the right direction.....I hope that your husband can start on the road to recovery and everyone is feeling better soon!
I saw a LIVE animal the other day running across the road near my house....it was about as big as a medium sized dog, and I swear to God it was HAIRLESS....it freaked me out. I know I live in Baltimore City and we have some really big rats here, but this creeped me out...it had really long legs...
LOL-Pan has us trained to turn the bathroom faucet on 3-4 times a day so he can get a drink.....sometimes I have to wait to spit out my toothpaste until he is finished "wetting his whistle"! LOL! The tub will probably be his next request!
