Thank you missmimz for your thoughtful reply. I will try the brands you suggested. The reason I fed him the same food all the time was because if I tried to change it, he wouldn't eat. He seems to be a very fussy eater. I do appreciate the suggestions, thank you.

Hi mak17f,  Thank you for your reply. The vet suggested that I have Scooter's teeth cleaned, as he has some plaque.  They did some bloodwork for that. I guess they need to make sure he can handle the anesthetic. I'm not sure if they tested for liver issues as well. I'll have to call them and...
