    Vet Recommended Food?

Have tried everything, pretty much - raw, cooked, whatever.  She loves anything she can slurp, very wet and juicy! Give her baby food meat (chicken and turkey), too, now, plus Whiskas Cat Milk sometimes.  Have had many cats ovee the years, never had a problem.  She will not even eat scraps of...

Thank you so much!  Exactly what I tell my husband when he keeps saying "but the Vet said"!  I think she is just thinking she might could use some carbs to fatten her up.  I just wanted to start her off right and avoid the Diabetes that last cat developed from a strictly Iam's diet with Wheat...

Deadly to my cat. And if you read all the post on MyDiabeticcat.com you will see how difficult it is to deal with, basically more than human diabetes! There is a list of foods they recommend on there also, basically those w/o Wheat Gluten. That is why so many foods are now advertised as...

My cat has stopped eating wet food

That is why my last cat developed Diabetes, from Wheat Gluten in the Iam's that I was feeding it exclusively. Check the "MyDiabetic" Cat site for hints as to how to start a kitten out and prevent it. Feline Diabetes is very difficult to deal with.

Again, please beware of any food in "gravy" usually contains "wheat gluten", deadly for cats.

Be very careful with any food in "gravy" or basically any with "wheat gluten". Deadly, cause Feline Diabetes!

    No More Fancy Feast !

NO WHEAT GLUTEN! Fancy Feast Classics or Appetizers (anything but the Grilled or Gravy types) are one of the few brands without Wheat Gluten. Read your labels and know it is a deadly ingredient that will give your precious Kitty Cat Diabetes. We gave a our last beloved cat strictly Iam's...
