    Idiopathic diarrhea

My 3 yr old cat Tiger has been diagnosed with idiopathic diarrhea. The vet said they don't normally have a full life and that I should start feeding him non-diet food. I've been feeding him Iams weight control for awhile now. Does anyone know anything about this disease? How long he might live...

    Scratching up the floor!

I said this in my first reply: "I'm not allowed to let him wander the house at night what with all the things he likes to scratch and whatnot, so he just stays in my room." But I think i will let him tonight. He's only peed in the house once so i think he will be fine, i'm just hoping he doesnt...

    Scratching up the floor!

So, he was born July 19, 2005, we still have his mom, but I left for Boston August 20 '05 and shortly after that, he and his mom left and didnt come back again till January (the time I came back home). I would suppose he's been doing this since I started giving him less food, even though he...

    Scratching up the floor!

Hi Persi, Yes i tried it and he didn't like it He also has a little scratching post that sits beside my bed that he uses. I'm sure he just does this because either he wants out of my room or wants more food (even though I give him enough already). I'm not allowed to let him wander the house at...

    Scratching up the floor!

My cat has been driving me crazy! Hes over a year old, outside-inside cat (sleeps with me in my room overnight) and lately I just can't get to sleep. Every so often, he'll go to the door and start scratching up the carpet till i get up and scold him. Then he'll do it again. Eventually i'll give...

    Help! Tiger won't eat :(

Update: so last night before I went to bed, i saw some green diarrhea (i think) on the fur around Tiger's butt, I'm not sure what that might mean, but I took him in this morning and the vets are keeping him overnight so they can check a stool sample. He didn't have a fever when I brought him in...

Hi My cat Tiger is 11 months old and since yesterday or maybe even earlier, he hasnt been eating. Kittie doesn't like being inside anymore..?

Well, actually, my dad pretty much doesnt care about them at all. A long time ago, a stray came and he actually SHOT it Nothing I say will ever change his mind. Plus I think it would be impossible to try and teach Tiger how to use a litterbox. He'd end up peeing and pooping everywhere, or keep...

Kittie doesn't like being inside anymore..?

Oh, believe me, I wish I could but my parents say strictly outside. Dad doesnt like cats and mom doesn't like the shedding, scratching..We have around 11 outside cats, alot of strays come over cause i feed them, so..But yeah..I'd love it if he could stay inside.
