I'm so sorry to hear this Nikki.... I know how you feel. I've been fostering for years now and mostly foster ferals and their kittens. I've lost alot of sweet babies too....my thoughts are with you.

I concur ...being in the business of "rescue" myself!!

Most definitely get her spayed ASAP...or you'll have more than her escaping to worry about....you'll have 5 or 6 hungry little mouths!! We spay all our kittens at 3/4 months old here.

Also, a good idea IF you're going to leave the windows open for kitty to get some freshair, make sure your screens are "cat proof". Cats can claw there way out of most screens that are in windows...they aren't very "heavy duty". Most hardware stores have "pet proof screening" and it is not...

One of my cats Digger, (grey & white male) is very happy his wrestling partner Nikki is back for a visit (I'm cat sitting for another foster). And his girlfriend Tasha (Nikki's sister) is just loving being with Digger!! ... Smudgie (my oldest male) is chaperoning them there in the background..

This is Nikki and Tasha with my big guy Digger.... They were born outdoors. Unfortunately I could only rescue these two... I found another littermate who had passed away because of the cold/starvation in a snowbank...it was heartbreaking....
