    Unfortunately, she is already visibly pregnant again.  The kittens have not been wanting the dry food in the past few days; only nursing.  They always sick up within an hour of nursing, but have never done so after having just dry food. We plan on keeping all the cats in during the winter...

    Hello all. I have a cat who adopted us (belonged to a neighbor who never took care of her) not long before having her second litter.  We also adopted two of the four kittens from her first litter.   The new kittens are about 8 weeks old now and will eat regular dry food and drink water...

    Adopting a pregnant cat

    We recently adopted a cat who came to us to have her kittens.  We used an unoccupied bedroom because we also had other cats and didn't want her to be disturbed.  This way, she had a nice, quiet, dark room all to herself.  A laundry basket is a good idea to keep them from spreading out too much...
