Yes it is, but I'm better than I was in the first week. I just take it one day at a time. Some days are a little easier than others. Staying busy is helping as I don't think quite so much. She did, she got my through a rough time and was my constant companion since she was old enough to be away...
I'm doing okay, Tomorrow will be two weeks since her death and it's getting a little easier with each passing day but just like losing a human family member it never really goes away.
Thank you, me too. My church isn't usual by any sense but it's full of amazing people. The leader there lost his pet and that's what started "animal hill" though I prefer "pet hill". It's a place for the memeber to bury their pets when they can't afford cremation and they don't have a place to...
Just thought I would post here. Willow is buried out at the pet cemetery at my church. I can visit her grave any time I'm there. I know that was the right spot because I felt it. I still think of her often and made a memory necklace for her. Only a photo of her is missing from it. It's been...
If he doesn't seem like it's bothering him overly bad and it's draining. Well of course his face is swollen from it. Keep an eye on it and if you can there are ointments you can get that will help with any infection already there and keep a new one from forming so it can heal on it's own...
Just going to throw a couple of suggestions out that my help and are fairly simple.
is it possible for you to clean out their box more often? this may help.
Are they stepping in it while going or trying to cover it maybe and then getting it everywhere else. If so then a larger box maybe...
Try to slowly warm her up if she feels cold to the touch. Get her to eat as much as possible use tuna, chicken whatever you can to get her to eat more. But as long as she's eating she should be okay for a bit. Keep her warm and get her to a vet asap. It's good that she's still eating though. Is...
Yes Margd, I vist her every night in my dreams and she's her playful sassy self. She wants lots of love and play sessions and of course her favorite food. She also naps in my lap like she always did and purrs in he sleep as I pet her. I miss her in my waking world though and I always will.
I'm cautiously hoping she can fight through this. I've been where you are and only one of five made it. We're all here for you. All you can do is keep trying. Sounds like she's a little fighter. You're doing amazingly by the way.
You're welcome. I wish you luck. Also be patient with her as she's very scared. You may find it helpful to make her little hiding spots in a few different places in the house so she can feel safe and still be close to her new family
One of my cats did this after we moved. Put your cat in another room other than her safe room if you can and give her some love as you pick her up and continue giveing her love as you walk around the house with her in your arms showing her there's nothing that can hurt her. Then sit down with...
While I am grieving her loss I know she's okay. I opened my room door and saw her curled up in my mom's recliner one of her favorite places to nap. She looked up at me and there was a golden glow around her. I heard her purr and she was gone. I also had a dream I was somewhere I'm not sure where...
