    Feline Vestibular Syndrome

She's back to her old self and has been wanting more attention and is extremely affectionate. She's back to running around and jumping on things. That's quite an improvement from being incapacitated and unable to eat/drink and get to the catbox on her own. I'm so happy and relieved and good...

    Feline Vestibular Syndrome

Thanks, she has been making some further improvements. She finally jumped up in bed with me this morning being vocal and wanting my attention, got back down on her own. I forgot to say we've been giving her small doses of Amoxicillin twice a day so that might have helped. She seems to be vocal...

    Feline Vestibular Syndrome

We had quite a scare with one of our cats and thought she was dying.. A few weeks ago we noticed we hadn't seen one of our cats out. When she finally came out she was walking really wobbly and kept falling down. She appeared, disoriented, confused and weak/lethargic. She kept falling down and...

Post your favorite photo of your cat!

My mother's cat Shadow on my shoulders while playing Yahtzee a while back. As I'm posting this at my computer he's on my shoulders sound asleep. <3

MY CAT HAS BEEN MISSING FOR A MONTH....

I've considered using reward money as a motivator for the safe return of my cats - it would probably work with the types of folks living around us. I don't really have a friend or family member able to speak on my behalf and my mother is unable to because of similar reasons as myself. As I said...

MY CAT HAS BEEN MISSING FOR A MONTH....

I've had three cats of mine come up missing. Each time I've had suspicions of neighbors taking them but no proof to do anything. My cat Midnight got out but I was watching him. One minute he was there and the next he was gone, he has been gone since. There is a lady in the park that used to own...

    TBT! your cats first picture!

We think this one has Maine Coon in him. From what we read up on he exhibits traits of Maine Coons. He has the medium-long to long fur, tufts on ears and paws. Big bushy tail and ruff around his neck. He is very calm, friendly and affectionate. Now he is wanting to be on us and all sorts of...

    TBT! your cats first picture!

It's hard to get a decent picture of this one. I did as well as I could to snap a picture of my mother's kitten Mr. Whiskers. :) He's actually much fluffier than the picture depicts. He has a big bushy tail, more fur than cat. :P

    Advice needed.

Thank you. Thankfully these new neighbors have not been back yet. Place is in such bad shape and we're hoping they cut their loss and moved on. We keep watching out for them to make sure they don't return to lay poison. Another thing that concerns me is there was a busted, leaking pipe under the...

    Advice needed.

We live in a mobile home park. Me and my mother are caring for several ferals and I was doing TNR as a means of population control and ensuring roaming ferals were vaccinated. Most of my own cats were ferals I socialized and are near impossible to keep indoors. One of my mother's cats can cover...

Filing a grievance with the local SPCA shelter?

All I know is the spay/neuter clinic is operated from the SPCA and surgeries are performed by students. I'm having two different or possibly similar problems with the SPCA. One with getting cats in for spay/neuter and the other is with the person taking emails for the shelter and administering...

    Curious about something..

Still interested in feedback on both mysteries. Do socialized and half-socialized ferals instantly revert back to their feral instincts when outside even though they know who I am? I have two that like to sort of tease me. Like they walk away slowly with me following, roll over and meow to me...
