Well, five babies! The first three came really fast. She was calm the whole time. They are all nursing and doing fine. She rested a while after the first three then BAM! Two more! First one looks like her, second and third are almost all silver, the fourth is absolutley stunning, black head...

Oh my gosh .. three already! Now she looks like she is resting but still contracting. She is licking on them now, but it all happened so fast they have not nursed yet. They were trying to but she was not sitting still long enough.

O.k., Mom-E was on the kitchen floor next to me and twice she tightened up her tummy and looked like she was pushing or wanted to push. Now she is the the TV cabinet. She is meowing and looks to be in labor. I think this is it!!!

She is sleeping behind the sofa now. Her "hiccups" stopped or whatever the heck they were. Mom-E... I really need to think of a better name for her. LOL I just started calling her that because she is having babies and it kind of stuck.

I am not sure, but from what I read it should be really close. I have been seeing kittens moving for nine days and she is just resting on the sofa with no signs of labor at all. Sometimes I think she is nesting..but that is pretty much the extent of it. The waiting is the worst!

My kitchen and my den are all open together so I have her in here. We keep the bedroom doors closed that way she can't go hide somewhere in there where we would have a hard time getting to her if she needs us. I set up a box in the den and left the bathroom door open with old towels. Also she...

Oh gosh no... I am not aborting the kittens. I meant that I was making an appointment while I was phyically there for her to get spayed whenever she can be after the kittens are born. I was not sure if I can make the appointment so far in advance I should have said. Sorry about the confusion.
