My cat has a lot of red eye discharge from his right eye - hes had it for while now - month or longer, but I just assumed it was nothing to be worried about since he seems fine, and his third eyelid hasnt come out or anything..
But I did pull his eyes open today, and though his third eyelid...
Thanks all, and thanks for the ingredients breakdown sharky.
I think I will go with the james wellbeloved for a while and see how it goes.
Ultimately Im looking for a grain free food - the orijen was really good for them, and they ate less of it, and their weight regulated back from slightly...
Hi - thanks all for recommendations!
Taste of the wild sounds like a good replacement, but its not available here - I should have mentioned I'm in the UK!
This is the James Wellbeloved ingredients:
White rice (min 26%), turkey meat meal (min 26%), turkey fat, maize gluten, potato protein (min...
I used to give my cats Nutro Complete Care, but that was discontinued earlier this year. I looked long and hard to find a suitable replacement and settled on Orijen. The cats did well on it, all good.
Now my usual suppliers have increased the price of Orijen by 33% to bring it in line with...
We get our dry food from zooplus.co.uk. It used to be Nutro, but we have now switched over to Orijen.
We get our wet from Tescos - Tescos Finest, and Hi-Life pate canned
Thought I'd give a quick update - we've been giving the cats Orijen for the past few days, and they really love it! (touch wood).
They seem to be eating less of their wet food though for some reason, not sure if this is because they are getting more of their requirements from their dry food...
We are looking to switch from Stronghold, since its kind of annoying that we have to take our kitties in for a (paid!) checkup everytime we buy Stronghold, but when we asked the vet nurse for a good non-prescrip alternative, she basically told us that other flea treatments were not as good as...
I've always ordered it online, but it doesnt seem to be available anywhere now, and even the nearest shop stockists have run out of all sizes...so its bye bye Nutro, at least for now..
Still, Orijen looks good, and hopefully the cats will enjoy a change in their diet
thanks all, for the input. I think Orijen looks to be a good bet for us, but since it has such a high protein content (we are switching over from Nutro at 32% to Orijen at 45%) is there any chance the cats will get...'backed up'? lol...or will they adjust to it easily?
Thanks - I think of the lot, Eukanaba looks the best too.
But Ive also found the following available in the UK which a lot of people here seem to use:
Eagle Pack
James Wellbeloved
Orijen
I've had a look at the ingredient list, but am not really sure what you look at to determine which is the...
Hello all,
Since Nutro has discontinued in the UK, I'm looking for a high quality replacement for Nutro Complete Care Adult. The usual suspects are Iams, Royal Canin, Hills, Purina, and Eukanaba (sp). How do these stack up and are there any others available (online would be easiest) that are as...
So gutted!!! I've rang around lots of shops, and they have all tried ordering this for me with the same result - no more UK stock left!
My cats have been doing really well on this stuff, now I have to find an alternative for the first time in their lives :'(
to Nutro!!! (thats water btw not...
