Go back to the WD. Or do what I do - mix RD with WD dry

Are you feeding dry only. How long did it take for your cats to lose wt on the RD? I tried the RD once before but my cat's stools were very large in diameter. I was afraid she would eventually not be able to pass them, so I went back to the WD only. This time we're mixing WD & RD together.

Since you work in a vet clinic what do your vets recommend for helping to keep the teeth clean - dry or canned food. I know brushing is the best and I try to brush my cat's teeth 3x a week.

I just had my cat's teeth cleaned 1/12/06. She had blood work done and was knocked out for the procedure. She came thru just fine. I've now started to try and brush her teeth 2-3 times a week.

In a previous thread you were feeding the Hi-Factor. Why the change to WD. If also feed WD - have one cat - I purchase the 4# bags from the vet - usually 2 at a time. To be honest I really haven't seen any weight loss but she hasn't gained any either and she loves the food.
