    Feliway experiences and book

Feliway is great stuff. It works miracles with cats and especially with their stress. You can get it online, but we get it through our vet.

    Cats we've rescued!

People seem to like to dump kitties on our road, and we have rescued quite a few. The rescued ones we have now are Callie and Amos & Toby. In the past we have rescued Tigger, who we had to help across the bridge, and Smokey, who we lost to feline lukemia.

    Cover your poo...

You probably want another box at least. You should have 1 more box than the number of cats.

    are they fighting or playing?

Sometimes this behavior means the older cat is trying to show who's the boss, but I don't think it wants to hurt the kittne.

126lb dog attacked by 8lb kitten

HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I'm sorry, I just find this hilarious. I guess the dog has figured out who's boss. But I think your puppy is very cute, not ugly at all!

    Isn't this awful?

I couldn't agree more, this is just an outrage, I mean, if you are willing to get rid of a dog because it sheds, grrrr.....

which type of dog do you have with your cats?

I have a Golden retriever and a Chocolate lab. They both are males and get along very well with the cats. They even let Callie keep believing she's a dog.

Memories of Smokey with the dogs

Sadly, my little Smokey has been gone a while now, (feline lukemia) but he was a funny cat. (sorry, I don't have any pics) He thought he was a dog, and followed them EVERYWHERE! He even jumped on Crockett's back once! Crockett is a chocolate lab, so it was pretty funny.

    Roaming.....

They are neutered, but we can't stand to keep them in because then they claw things up and make LOTS of noise. We try to go out with them because they tend to stay closer then......

    Roaming.....

Alright, here's the problem I have. Amos and toby (shown below) were dumped next door at my grandmother's house. They like to roam all over, and they tend to be VERY reluctant to come back. Last night, Toby didn't come in at all, he stayed out all night, despite being called many times........

    Unwanted Alarm Clock

Toby likes to wake me up between 1-3 am.......he jumps on me, licks my face, and meows.....he has food and water, and a box.....He usually just wants to go out!

    Cat vocalization questions

Amos makes lots of noises. He likes to talk to you and he gets angry if you don't talk back. If I don't respond, he attacks my feet.....But he chirps and growls too!

Licking? Is this my cats way of saying hello or...

Toby LOVES to lick me.......he doesn't lick anyone else near as much, but his brother, amos, doesn't hardly lick anyone but toby, when he does lick, he likes to nibble!
