PS: in order to be healthy cats should sleep 18hrs a day - uninterrupted
Same reason why I never recommend a kitten for children. The kitty usually gets sick or dies, b/c it's constantly bothered and handled or overfed
Also, the best feeding time is 4am and 6pm - when cats hunt
I read your post and I train mainly problem dogs, but have rehabbed quite a few feral cats.
If your cat was never mean before she is sick - either a urinary problem, or she has a broken bone or is hurt in some other way
If she's always been mean, you may want to take steps
