To me, anyone in western U.S. (Colorado to West Coast) is "accent-less,"   which is kind of dull, actually.  I like hearing  a genuine Southern drawl.  And BTW, that can't be faked like the actors try to do on NCIS- New Orleans. It doesn't work..

Yes, I  get a lot of that  Sox hate, even out here. Its mostly the "evil empire" (Yankee fans). I swear half of 'em have moved out West. But I'll never forget the magic of '04 though( and 2 more since!).

Love the Red Sox!!! DM grew up in Boston, and I have many relatives back there. Believe me, a little slice of heaven on earth is being at Fenway for a Sox game! Every baseball fan should get to see it once.  I root for my hometown Rockies too, but that rarely works out well.
