Agreed to foster pregnant cat...need advice

She is black and white...I don't think I have the clumping formula but I can check to be sure...I use World's Best for my other cats but it tends to track and smell so I wanted to try something different for her. I'm still not sure if she use dthe box this morning although it did look like she...

Agreed to foster pregnant cat...need advice

Thank you so much! She is incredibley sweet. She lays in my lap and purrs and nudges me when she wants more attention. I hate that she has to be confined but I know that it's the safest thing for her right now. I bought some Feline Pine for her litter...It only occured to me shortly after I...

Agreed to foster pregnant cat...need advice

I'm not sure what her wieght is yet as the shelter volunteer is the one who had her vetted. She's really small...doesn't feel like she could weigh more than 5 lbs and her features are all very proportionately small...(paws, nose, tail, ears...I am comparing her to my 9 months old male cat who is...

Agreed to foster pregnant cat...need advice

She's here! She is very, very tiny. I was told that the vet estimated her to be less than 1 yr. I'm a little worried about what that means for the kittens and her mothering skills. She seems healthy otherwise. I have no concept of how far along she is...she feels firm and only a little lumpy...

Agreed to foster pregnant cat...need advice

I just got a call this afternoon from a fellow volunteer with our humane society. A pregnant cat is in need of a home. She's been tested, and got a clean bill of health. The vet estimates that she's about 2 months along. I will be taking her tomorrow. I need some advice! I have two male cats...

    Please help...Lost Cat :(

Ozzy, the cat we adopted as a kitten almost 5 years ago, who has moved 4 times with us, is gone. He's neutered and a very aloof, confident kitty. We've always struggled with keeping him inside and as of recent, he has managed to escape for up to a few hours at a time, always sticking close by...

    Please help...very worried.

I want to begin this by saying I am taking my cat into the vet tomorrow but would like some advice, thoughts, ideas and opinions of those who may have dealt with something similar... My cat is 4 years old and very healthy...he's an indoor cat on high quality food and enjoys his life with 2...

It seems as though both you and Amber are very lucky.

    Please help!

That's kind of what I was also thinking. He isn't using any claws yet...and he also bites, but gently. The kitten even provokes him for more biting, batting and rolling. Then Ozzy grooms him and they start all over again. Thank you all for your kitty insight.

    Water thief

Our cat does this and it drives me crazy...only after he finishes drinking the water, he gently slides it off the table and onto the floor.

    Please help!

I've seen him groom him a few times...but then he always resumes the batting...(which I'm assuming is playful)

    Please help!

Just wanted to update...The kitten is super sneaky. He managed to get out of his room (on dh's watch) I found him with Ozzy in the kitchen. They were batting at each other and being fairly playful. Everyonce in a while Ozzy would hiss and run away, but he would then come back and sniff, lick...

    Adoption fee

Have you looked into any rescues? They will likely be placed in foster care where they will be well taken care of, they will have all their vet work (including spaying/neutering), possibly even microchipped and the adopters will be thoroughly screened by someone with experience. Not to...

    Famished kitten

Our new kitten acts as if he's constantly starving...He begs for our food, attempts to paw food from the dog's bowels and stalks the kitchen. He has food in his bowel and he's been eating but I've never seen anything like this. Our other cat wouldn't even touch dog or people food but this...
