The crate is more like a large dog cage we originally got to put resident cat in when he had knee surgery so it fits a litter box, bed and food bowl comfortably :) Thanks for the help!!

We recently got a new kitten and he has adjusted very well so we are thinking of letting him into the rest of the house permanently. He currently allowed out when there is someone home and put into the base camp room when we go to bed. The main problem is that we can't leave him out at night...

I thought so! No worries though :) I've ordered a bowl that worked with the older cat's microchip! It's made specifically for cats with prescription food so I'll let you know how it works!

Is there anyway I can make sure my new kitten doesn't eat from the adult cat bowl? My resident cat has a problem where we add pancreatic enzymes to all his food to help him digest it but don't want to kitten to eat any off that as it may harm him :( Thanks!

No fear! So that's good I guess. Also I was wondering if it's okay that all they do is chase and play fight? The kitten is always excited so he's always bopping the resident cat and trying to get him to chase and play.

None of those I don't think! The older cat did have his tail puffed up though... Is chasing after each other okay as well?
