Here is another picture of him, this time of his full body. I don’t think he’s a DSH, because he looks very different. He has a little brownish red fur behind his ears, just like African wildcat. However, I don’t live in Africa. I don’t think think he’s a pure one if he is one, but he should at...
My other kitten, who is a domestic shorthair, is a little curious about him and tries to bite him a little every now and then. The new kitty is basically ignoring him.
I found this kitten in a dumpster on a mountain yesterday, he was crying so loud and desperately, so I took him in. At first I thought he was a normal cat, but after some careful observation and searches I think he might be an African wildcat. Here are some pictures of him, can someone give...
As he’s getting older he’s getting less and less affectionate. He bites more, ignores me and walks away when I try to pet him. So I try to give him space, but if I close the bedroom door (we had to give him access to the whole house because he attacks us at night and walks over our faces) he...
Well,I think he try’s to me because he sleeps on me and lets me rub his belly. He also licks my nose sometimes. But sometimes he hisses at me, arches his back and takes off running under the counter when I’m just walking in his direction.
He’s very calm sometimes (usually while sleeping) and licks my face. I’ve tried using toys to interact with him, but he seems to know it’s my hand manipulating the toy. So he just ignores the toy and goes for my hand. When I’m sleeping, he bites my face sometimes and when I wake up to see what...
To recap what has gone before, and additional questions:
A cream tabby kitten was found in the street by a customer of my local pet store & veterinarian, and at that time I was looking for a kitten. So I adopted him. The vet said he was about 6 weeks old, Andy he was born on the 11th of Oct. At...
I tried scruffing him a few times, but I gave up because it didn't seem to have any effect as he continued after about 15 seconds. Yes, this is my first cat :)
He has all those toys and more, but no. He hasn't calmed down. I work here, so I play with him 50% of the time when there are no customers. He doesn't seem interested in playing with me, though.
He was found on the street by someone else, so I can't find his mom or siblings. He tries to bite me and scratch me, doesn't want snuggles but likes to sleep in my bed. I know it's very young for a kitten to be separated from his family, so I try to give him as much attention as possible and...
