We're still training Freya that it's not nice to chase us around the house and bite our feet at any opportunity. She seems to do it as more of an affectionate thing, but it hurts x.x And now she's getting used to the squirt bottle, which means we'll have to find something else she doesn't...

That's what roundworm medicine normally does? Huh. When I gave Freya her medicine, she seemed fine. Just a bit sleepy. But it got rid of the roundworms, so I'm glad. ^.^

I wish that was our problem - instead, my kitten likes to try and eat the dog's food. -.-; Our dog snapped in her face today, but she STILL kept trying to get at the dog food, even though she'd just been fed her nightly helping of wet food. *rolls eyes*

Well, she's graduated from just grabbing hold of me with her front paws to doing a lot of other things! Once, I crawled over to her, and she hopped onto her back paws and held out her front to me, like she wanted a hug. X3 She's also obsessed with just holding things between her paws, then...

*nods* She got some more of her wet food, since she doesn't seem to like any of the treats we've gotten her. ^.^ And then she went and roughed up her mouse toy.

Well, my house has had a mouse problem for a bit. It's part of the reason dad let me get a cat. -.-; But we honestly didn't think she'd hunt this young ((10 weeks)), or be able to actually make the kill. Surprise surprise - she brought my dad's shoe a present this morning, freshly killed...

I can only get Freya to let me do her front claws - she's an angel when it comes to that. Sits still and lets me do both paws in one sitting. But her back paws... she doesn't like me fooling around with her hind feet. XD;

Yeah, I think part of the problem is that it's so out of my dad's character to get a cat ((He's allergic)), and that I'm still adjusting to the fact that I have a real, live kitten who's happy and loves me... it's just a very different situation than I'm used to, and I've had to change my habits...

I have a bit of an odd question: Is it abnormal for me to be anxious and a bit upset when it comes to thinking about my kitten? I love her to death, and I would never give her up, but when I think about taking care of her for all of her life, I get very nervous and upset, and I get the feeling...

Oh, yes. X3 Very good jumper, but her pounces are more like fast dashes. She's young - she gets time to perfect it. ^.^ But really, she's an active little girl.
