CRF - Chronic Renal Failure:links and experiences with

Thanks for the info on the chicken broth - I did see mention of onion concentrate in the ingrediant listing for the chicken broth. I'll make up some broth tomorrow....and for now try to get her to eat the original flavor wet k/d [will add water to the stuff to make smoother].

CRF - Chronic Renal Failure:links and experiences with

All I have learned that my little Zoey will eat the Chicken flavored wet k/d [especially if I mix some water with it]. I have 4 lbs of the dry stuff as well. Can I mix with low-sodium chicken broth to make my own wet stuff for her to eat since she won't touch the dry stuff anymore? If so -...

    Knowing when it is time

Am I a bad momma if I decide to put her down rather than subject her [and me] to endless manipulation of diet, force feedings, etc? I know that once we get her stabilized [if we get her stabilized] she can live for months or years. To be honest - I don't have the time [I work full time and am...

Hello all. I've been here several times over the last couple of years asking questions about my dear Zoey. She has been a sickly cat since we brought her home from the shelter 3.5 years ago - severe upper respitory issues [chronic], anal sac impactions [every 6- 9 months]. She is...

Thoughts about why my girl isn't eating what she should be

She is eating the wet food just fine....just not the dry food [or at least not much]. I'm sure she would eat more of the wet stuff if I gave it to her, but the vet wanted me to keep her on dry only -- but with the suggestion of giving her pepcid--i mix it in the wet to get her to eat.

Thoughts about why my girl isn't eating what she should be

He wants to check her out personally if she isn't back to eating her normal amounts in a week [which from when we talked would be Friday]. I'm thinking it could be she is tired of her food.....but can't take her off of it until the vet sees her because the anal sac issue would creep back in if...

Thoughts about why my girl isn't eating what she should be

Hi. My girl is almost 3 years old and has recently just stopped eating. Ok..she is eating, but only a fraction of what she should be. I feed Zoey 5/8 a cup of Science Diet W/D to help maintain a lower weight due to Anal Gland issues [which they think is tied to her weight]. Last time I took...
