    Fish/Salmon Oil

I knew what you meant, I just don't speak good. ;) I'll look into the capsules, as I'm sure we can get them. Thanks.

    Fish/Salmon Oil

Oops, we don't have capsules or anything from Pure Alaska. It's a pump of Holistic Blend, and the ingredient list is simply "cold pressed Alaskan salmon oil".

    Fish/Salmon Oil

Thanks. I was thinking of the Grizzly Salmon oil, but we do carry the Pure Alaska stuff too. Any thoughts on Grizzly?

    Fish/Salmon Oil

So I'm guessing all the anti-fish stuff regards feeding it to cats regularly, not simply adding some oil to the food. Which makes sense, as allergies tend to come up due to meat protein... not fat or oil.

    Fish/Salmon Oil

The only thread I could find that discusses fish oil at all was kind of short, and didn't really provide the answer I was looking for. To be frank... should I add salmon oil to my cat's food? I thought it would help with the skin and coat, and by not being the main part of the diet it would be...

    Royal Canin vs Nutro

I'd look elsewhere entirely, as the ingredient listing for both is far from ideal (say no to corn). Although the RC canned looks okay outside of the pork by-product.

best (hopefully affordable) canned food kitten???

If a brand has larger cans, you can save money by buying them instead of the smaller ones. It's a bit more work, as you'll have to cover and refrigerate the unused portion of each can, but it doesn't take so much longer that the money saved won't make up for it. Plus there's less waste. Also...

    Wet or Dry?

Yeah, don't think you're a bad parent because you feed dry, because that's not true at all. The fact you're willing to look into and join a site like this shows the opposite. Good parents are always looking to improve things for their kids, and that's what you're doing. I also agree that...

Grain Free bad for male cats?

do they like drinking from running faucets, as many cats do? If so, then you could try a fountain instead of a water bowl. Or you could get free samples of Honest Kitchen Prowl, which is a dehydrated food that must be mixed with warm water before serving.

Need help with my indoor kitten

I like to compare the male urinary tract to that of a roller coaster. By that I mean that the tract has many twists and turns, unlike the tract of a female that is fairly straight. That "roller coaster" thing makes it easier for crystals to build up, which can lead to infection or other blocking...

Grain Free bad for male cats?

I hear the "but my dog likes it, and he's old" or "I had a dog that lived really long eating this 'crappy' food" all the time, and I too get tired of it. My analogy involves me loving ice cream, but not eating it for every meal. Not to mention that quality of life is as important, if not moreso...

    Bones/Chews

Great. Another thing to add to the list of things I need. Okay, maybe I don't need it all, but I want my cat to be as happy and healthy as possible.

It'll be a while since I'm getting a kitten, but I'll look into it down the road.

    Tropiclean Fresh Breath

Thanks. We sell a lot of the Tropiclean to dog owners, but not cat owners, so I had no feedback to go by.
