    Questionable advertising on the site

technically, it's a paintball gun, and you are "splatting" a coworker, but yeah, I don't think it's real "family friendly"... I won a PSP. http://incentiverewardcenter.com/rd_...coworkerfla&a=

    Questionable advertising on the site

I suspect we're not the only ones who complained. I haven't seen the mailbox-basebal ad in days, and I've gone through a couple dozen releads without the "shoot a coworker" ad.

Radio question of the day: 05/17/05

the only thing I can think of that I've tried and really didn't like enough to never eat it again was Chicken Feet at a local DimSum joint. I've also never worked up the guts to try tripe or brain (served as a taco filling at some real authentic taco stands here in southern california), but...

    Handling Telemarketers

I love the National Do-Not-Call registry. There is nothing like being able to tell them "if you call me again I will file a $10,000 complaint against you with the FTC." now if only I could keep politicians from calling me, I'd be happy.

What are you listening to right now?

right at this moment, Norah Jones's cover of "Tennesee Waltz" from her Live @ The House Of Blues album. it's a mix cd, so just before that was "Cuz I'm a thug" by Trick Daddy, Dragula by Rob Zombie, and some various Dave Matthews Band and Guns-N-Roses prior to that

    Hard time at work. HELP!!!!

and DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. make hand-written notes regarding every conversation your boss and you have. What was discussed, what did you ask, how did she answer, etc... hand-written notes are admissable as evidence if you should decide to bring them up on charges for wrongful termination. for...

Things that make you go... mmmmm?

Fish Scales aren't just found in lipstick. Any makeup that is "sparkly" (like the stuff you'd wear to a club) most likely has fish scales in it.

    Brian's Volunteer Cat-petting thread

really? (checks server...) everything looks like it's working. I serve this site off of my cheap home DSL line, so the connectivity isn't always the most stable. try again, let me know if you get through. if not, I'll see if ther's something I can do from this end...

    Brian's Volunteer Cat-petting thread

about half of the little ones were already adopted when these pictures were taken (there's a waiting period I guess), with the others soon to go I'm sure. The big white one's been there a long time 9since he's deaf) but finally found a home (he's very affectionate). in fact, he goes home...

What women want in a man

    > * 90 percent of women say their ideal man is low-maintenance and easy-going. >* 88 percent want a man who will make them laugh. then why isn't CarrotTop dating the supermodels that go for Donald Trump? ;-)
